DSJ's Live Urinal
I do not own a single pair of jeans.

Come to think of it, I have never owned a pair of jeans.

Maybe this has been my problem all along.

So, my journal layout is brand new.

But no amount of money can change the quality of the posts Collapse )

So, I discovered DosBox and got my precious Tyrian running again. After beating the game (which took maybe an hour or so) the emptiness that had been relieved quickly returned.

Then I tried my precious Biomenace, but I can't play it without a patch that I have to run right before the actual game, so I can't use D-Fend to change the game resolution. I still played the first episode in a window the size of 1/8th of the monitor, but I don't know if I have the IRON WILL to play the next two episodes so tediously.

Every other DOS game I've tried just won't work at all. I'm too afraid to try my precious Solar Winds for fear of being crushed with it freezing for no apparant reason. Like with System Shock. My precious System Shock.

Cycling through personal ads is so brutal. Don't know what's worse: doing it so often, doing it so often I actually recognise the same guys over and over, or doing it so often that I become unconsciously familiar enough with some ads to recognise they've added a new little disclaimer that reads "Thanks to this site I've found someone special, but I think I'm just going to leave this ad up like a little landmine to make some people's days that much shittier".
